Fish Perfect for your Aquarium
Fish are great as pets, provided you understand how to take care of them. Aquariums are great places to look at in your house. But most people find the work of maintaining a great looking and fresh aquarium to be too much. If you manage to keep them healthy and hygienic, they shall reward you with their beauty and sparkle. Danios are among the small, active and colorful kinds. You will find these as red, yellow and green. They may be lively, but are not aggressive and can therefore coexist with other species. They shall do well in a large aquarium with gravel and plants at the bottom, with pH levels close to that of fresh water.
Black Molly, however, can live in any water. This makes it easier to care for them. They tend to be platinum colored, dusty gold or black. They eat mostly flake and pellet foods, bloodworms, and brine shrimp. They are social, but do not do well here there are large fish.
Platies shall be in more color, such as in blue, purple, red-orange, and yellow. You can get more color blends after they have been bred. They are quiet and live well among other quiet fish. Their males are usually tinnier than the females. You should put them in warmer water, and feed them flake food, freeze-dried food, and algae.
Betta fish are commonly in shapes like half-moon, double-tail and crown tail. They like their water warmer, and changed regularly.
Neon Tetra have silver or white abdomens with bright blue backs. They also live well with other species.
Guppies are the more playful ones and tend to breed a lot. If you keep some, it is only a matter of time before you have a full family. Their females may grow to be two times the size of the males. The males, on the other hand, are the more colorful species.
You shall tell a Rainbow fish by the way there are colored. They also grow more colorful once they settle in their new aquarium. They are passive, and shall live well among similarly disposed species.
Glofish are similar to Danios but also come with a neon shine. They prefer the company of other less aggressive fish.
